Deal CFO

A CFO on your side of the deal.

Buying a company, selling one, raising money or borrowing it: a CFO who works for your company, from the first look and the due diligence to the close.

Led by Charif Takieddine. He knows what the other side will test: he was the investor for twelve years, and has sat on the company’s side of its deals.

Buying a company

  • Financial due diligence on the target: what it really earns, and the risks in its numbers, found before you sign.
  • What you can pay, how to fund it, and where the risk sits in each way of structuring the deal.
  • What the deal does to your cash and debt once the two businesses are one.

Selling, raising or borrowing

  • The financial model, built for the buyer, the investor or the lender to test.
  • The finance documents for the data room.
  • A CFO beside you when they ask their questions.
  • What each price, each term and each way of funding it would do to the company, in numbers, including the downside.

Who does what

The CFO beside you is Charif Takieddine, with a team that has done deals like yours. On a purchase or a sale, our transaction (M&A) lead works on the diligence and the deal’s numbers; our analysts prepare the model and the finance documents for the data room. We work alongside your advisers, on the numbers.

How it runs

The work runs to the deal’s timetable and ends when the deal closes. After a purchase, it can carry on as a monthly engagement for the integration and the financial oversight of the combined group.
